These Terms of Service govern your use of the Helix IT Asset Recovery website (“the Site”) and the IT asset recovery services provided by Helix Computers Ltd (trading as Helix IT Asset Recovery, “Helix”, “we”, “us”), Company Registration No. 12446235, registered in England & Wales. By accessing the Site or requesting our services, you agree to these terms.
The Site is provided for information about our services and to enable you to submit enquiries. You agree to use the Site lawfully, not to misuse the contact forms, and not to submit false, misleading or unlawful information. We may update or withdraw the Site at any time without notice.
Any valuation or quotation provided by Helix is an estimate based on the information you give us about your equipment (type, condition, quantity and location). Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date issued and are non-binding until confirmed in writing. Final values may be adjusted following physical inspection of the equipment, and Helix will communicate any revised valuation before processing.
Collection of equipment is arranged by mutual agreement and is subject to availability and location. You confirm that you are authorised to dispose of the equipment made available for collection, and that it is free of any third-party claims, finance agreements or data not intended for destruction. Helix will handle data-bearing devices under certified data destruction procedures and, where requested, will provide chain-of-custody documentation.
Where Helix agrees to purchase equipment, payment terms will be set out in the written confirmation. Any value recovered is calculated in accordance with the agreed quotation and is contingent on the equipment matching the described condition at the point of collection.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Helix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability in connection with any service shall not exceed the value agreed for that specific transaction. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
